Agile

Being Agile enables your organisation to better respond to change, to deliver quality software iteratively, to develop dynamic autonomous teams and to create a positive collaborative working culture.

Agile creates better software solutions quicker with no superfluous features. Your customers work closely with your development teams throughout the development life-cycle.

The top 4 challenges to agile adoption/scaling are reported [1] as
  • Organisational culture at odds with agile values (52%)
  • General organizational resistance to change (48%)
  • Inadequate management support and sponsorship (44%)
  • Lack of skills/experience with agile methods (40%)

At InspireQS we have the know-how from many years of experience to help you overcome these challenges in your context. Our approach is to support effective change by focusing not just on the mechanics of Scrum and Kanban but on your people, culture and values such as commitment, trust and collaboration. Our team coaching helps key stakeholders such as your business representatives, developers, and testers collaborate to achieve greater levels of agility. Our executive coaching supports your management in providing leadership in behavioural change and adoption of agile values. This combined with practical team support for the fundamentals of Scrum and Kanban enhances value delivery.

Agile Services

  • Executive advisory support for your agile transformation. This includes assessing your current business drivers and ways of working to help develop or enhance the agile transformation strategy.
  • Coaching and mentoring your teams to provide them with the skills and knowledge with iteration and flow-based agile frameworks and practices. We can participate in agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Certification training to support your staff achieving Scrum qualifications
  • Non-certification customizable training. We can tailor courses to suit your needs in terms of content, duration and use of your own project’s artifacts such as user stories, product backlogs. These include Team Primers in Scrum and Kanban. Our workshops are very much based on ‘learning by doing’.
  • Outsourced/External Agile Coach. We advise that you hire an internal agile coach or have experienced Scrum Master’s support your agile adoption. In the absence of those resources or indeed if there is insufficient experience, then we can operate as an interim external agile coach and transfer the knowledge and skills necessary and ultimately become their mentor for when unexpected challenges arise.
